06/09/2020
DGSHAPE Corporation, which develops and sells Roland DG's 3D products, donated 4,950 masks to the Japanese Red Cross Society's Hamamatsu Red Cross Hospital on April 13, 2020.
The Hamamatsu Red Cross Hospital was established in 1938 and is the core hospital for emergency and disaster medicine in the region. It has been instrumental in the testing Eirthemis, a surgical instrument management solution from DGSHAPE.
Masaki Hanajima, R&D vice general manager, DGSHAPE corporation said, “We heard that the hospital was running out of various supplies due to the impact of COVID-19, and that masks in particular were in danger of running out of stock with about a month to go. Therefore, we donated masks in the hope of helping medical professionals in any way we can. We would like to continue to face COVID-19 with all the support we can give.”
